I went from nearly failing out of college, to a successful Graphic Designer and business owner.
After almost failing out of school, I finally found my path as a Graphic Designer and my life has been forever changed. I now have been a Graphic Designer for over 13 years. I began my career as a freelancer, and I did that for 8 years. I worked with a variety of clients ranging from technology companies, hair salons, boutique fitness studios, and everything in-between.
I went on to teach branding and project management at the Portland Art Institute and I have been the co-founder of The Creative Roundtable since 2015, it is where we give support and guidance to Creative Entrepreneurs through public events and weekly accountability cohorts. I also work in-house as a Senior Graphic Designer for a tech company in Portland, Oregon.
One more thing… my husband and I also own a food cart, Bark City BBQ, in Portland, Oregon.
